Hearing Screening and Counselling Service for the Elderly

Content: Trained staff will assist the elderly to conduct a quick hearing screening test (using the tablet screening application developed by the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong). The screening test takes about 10 minutes for each participant. Our staff member will provide a 10-15-minute counselling session and some simple follow-up suggestions for the participants according to their screening test results.

Service target: The elderly (can be accompanied by caregivers)
